DBZ is anime that origionally started from the manga Dragon boy. It later on was brought to the air as a new saga, Dragonball. This anime was about how Goku crash landed on Earth and how he learns about the Earth. Unfortuntualy Dragonball went off the air after a few episodes, then a few years later Toonami brought it back. At the end of Dragonball they decided to make a new series Dragonball Z. This anime left right off at the end of Dragonball. Ummm, thats all, lates.
