Goku is the hero of this anime. He is a saiyan from the planet Vegeta. He is in all of the sagas and he's very strong. When he goes to Namek to fight Frieza he becomes the first Super Saiyan in over thousands of years. He can attain all levels of a Super Saiyan over time. When fighting Cell he destroys himself in order to save the Earth.He is married to Chi Chi and he has a son named Gohan. Later on in the series he meets his other son, Goten. His father's name is Bardock and his mother is never told of in the series. He also knows the art of fusion. The most powerful move he was ever taught was the Genki Damiya(Spirit Bomb).
He is also the most powerful fighter in the universe.
